White, Warren County
White Township spans about 28 square miles of the Kittatinny Valley in western Warren County, bordering Belvidere, Harmony, Hope, Knowlton, Liberty, Oxford, and Washington Township. U.S. 46 crosses the north, Route 31 runs briefly through the east to end at Route 46, and County Route 519 is the main county road. About 4,600 people lived there in 2020, in Brookfield, Bridgeville, Buttzville, and places such as Foul Rift, Hazen, Little York, and Manunka Chunk. Part of the Pequest Fish Hatchery and Four Sisters Winery are in the township.
White's housing count rose from about 1,770 units in 2000 to about 2,300 in 2010, and Brookfield, with about 730 residents in 2020, is its largest census-designated community. That mix of newer development and older rural homes means conditions vary widely. We buy White Township houses for cash whether they are move-in ready or need a gut renovation.
White Township was formed from Oxford Township in 1913 and named for Alexander White I, whose stone mansion, White Hall, burned in 1924. The county commissioners meet at the Wayne Dumont Jr. Administrative Building here. When a long-held family home in White passes to heirs, we can buy it with contents inside and close when the estate is ready.
Mount No More, at 1,142 feet, is part of the New York–New Jersey Highlands, and Beaver Brook Wildlife Management Area is in the township. Rural lots near ridges and preserved land can be slower to sell and harder to appraise for lack of comparable sales. We buy rural houses and acreage for cash, without an appraisal contingency.

In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
