South Hackensack, Bergen County
South Hackensack is a township of about 2,700 people made up of three separate pieces. The main residential section sits next to Hackensack, Little Ferry, and Teterboro; a small western piece called Garfield Park lies between Garfield, Lodi, Wallington, and Wood-Ridge; and a southern sliver in the Meadowlands holds only industrial property. Interstate 80 crosses the main section, Route 46 skirts its southern border, and County Route 503 runs along its eastern edge. The township was formed in 1935, replacing Lodi Township.
Because South Hackensack is split into three non-contiguous sections, a house's mailing address, tax records, and neighboring town can be confusing to buyers and even to some lenders. We confirm the parcel and taxes with the title company and handle the details for you.
South Hackensack sits at an elevation of about 13 feet, with its southern section in the New Jersey Meadowlands. Low-lying properties can raise flood-zone and insurance questions during a mortgage-backed sale. We pay cash, so a lender's flood requirements don't apply.
Interstate 80 crosses the main part of the township and Route 46 runs along its southern edge, next to the borough of Teterboro. Homes near highways and industry can be harder to sell to retail buyers. We make offers on the house as it is, without showings.

Yes. We buy as-is for cash, so you don't need to make repairs or clean out the house first.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
