Red Bank, Monmouth County
Red Bank is a borough of about 12,900 people on the south bank of the Navesink River, bordered by Middletown across the river, Fair Haven, Little Silver, Shrewsbury, and Tinton Falls. Formed from Shrewsbury Township in 1870 and reincorporated in 1908, it packs a downtown along Broad Street, the Count Basie Center for the Arts, Riverview Medical Center, and a historic North Jersey Coast Line station into about 1.75 square miles of land. Housing runs from older cottages and two-family homes on the West Side to Victorians east of Broad Street.
Red Bank has two historic districts, Broad Street and Washington Street, and the East Side is known for Victorians and older colonials. Homes of that age can come with old wiring, aging heating systems, and lead paint, and exterior work in historic areas can draw extra review. We buy older Red Bank houses as-is and handle the renovation questions ourselves.
West of the rail line, toward Shrewsbury Avenue, the housing includes early-1900s cottages on small lots, postwar single-family homes, and older duplexes. Unrenovated cottages there often have aging mechanical systems. We buy West Side cottages and two-family homes in any condition, including those with tenants.
Red Bank has about four miles of waterfront along the Navesink and Swimming rivers, though only a small part is public. Homes close to the water can face flood-zone and insurance questions from a buyer's lender, and waterfront upkeep adds cost. We buy riverside homes without asking you to complete repairs first.

In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
