Hammonton, Atlantic County
Hammonton is a town of about 14,700 people roughly halfway between Philadelphia and Atlantic City, known as the "Blueberry Capital of the World." It borders Folsom, Hamilton, and Mullica townships in Atlantic County plus Shamong, Washington, Waterford, and Winslow townships. The Atlantic City Expressway, U.S. Routes 30 and 206, and Route 54 pass through, and NJ Transit's Atlantic City Line stops downtown. Outside the center are farm sections such as Dacosta, Rosedale, Rockwood, and West Mills.
Hammonton began with a sawmill beside Hammonton Lake in 1812, and in 1856 developers began selling parcels near the new railroad. The town was incorporated in 1866. Its older houses near downtown can come with dated systems and repairs that buyers' inspectors flag. We buy them as-is, without repair credits or re-inspections.
All of Hammonton lies inside the state-designated Pinelands Area. Farmland, additions, and new building are all subject to Pinelands standards, which can limit what a buyer plans to do with a lot. Our offer doesn't depend on any future approvals.
Hammonton's blueberry farms sit across sections like Dacosta and Rosedale, and the festival has run since 1953. Farmhouses and rural homes often come with outbuildings, wells, and equipment left behind. We buy rural Hammonton properties and you can leave what you don't want.

In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
