Estell Manor, Atlantic County
Estell Manor covers about 55 square miles of southern Atlantic County, yet it ranks among New Jersey's least densely settled municipalities, with about 1,700 residents. It borders Hamilton, Weymouth, and Egg Harbor townships, Corbin City, Upper Township, and Maurice River Township. Routes 49 and 50 and County Route 557 are the main roads. The city was formed from Weymouth Township in 1925, and its older place names include Estellville, Head of River, and Steelmans Landing.
Atlantic County Park in Estell Manor contains most of the ruins of the Bethlehem Loading Company, a munitions plant built in 1918 that loaded artillery shells into 1919. Concrete foundations and rail beds are what remain. Much of the old plant site is now county parkland, and the city's homes are spread out around it. We buy houses anywhere in Estell Manor, in any condition.
All of Estell Manor is in the Pinelands Area or the Pinelands National Reserve, and homes outside any sewer service rely on septic. A conventional septic system for a new single-family home needs a lot of at least 3.2 acres, or an advanced treatment system on smaller parcels. If your system is old or failing, we buy the house without requiring a replacement.
With about 30 people per square mile, Estell Manor homes often sit on big parcels with outbuildings, sheds, or old farm structures. Clearing them out before a listing can take weeks. We buy rural properties as they are, including the outbuildings and whatever is in them.
